Sing Me A Lullaby

I'm feeling playful. I'm also in front of a computer screen.

This could be interesting.

Dear Xtn

Dinner was my pleasure. As was the chat. I am writing a blog. Can you believe it. I can't. These are my reasons for writing.

1. I thought, what the heck, let's stick my neck out there.
2. You say I'm articulate. Have I mentioned that a guy that can articulate himself with me is a very attractive quality.
3. Blogging is FREE you say?
4. I have a message. And a passion. You say blogging is a relatively effective medium in which to express both. Let's see.
5. I want to test your blogging attractiveness theory. It may aid in bringing to a close my single pilgrimage.
6. Seeing that I read and tear apart your entries, I thought it only fair that I offer you the same priveledge [insert smiley face with tongue sticking out].

And I know you're not always that way. I like discussions that aid in the sharpening of the mind. As futile as they may be at times. But I'll try to talk bunnies with you more. I know you like talking bunnies. Perhaps after a few drinks.

Let's get personal. Here are a few of my favourite things.

1 Maps

As long as I can remember I've always wanted to own an atlas. You know, one of those big huge ones that you find in the libaries. There is just something about flicking through the pages of the world that gets me every time. A globe is on the 'to own' list as well, one that rotate on all axis. I saw one in Dymocks yesterday, but it wasn't big enough for any real topical details, and it needs the details.

2 Order

Order is a way of life. In my bubble everything has a place. When my room is a mess, it pretty much means I'm a mess. The state of my room is a good indication of the state of my life. If I don't have time to make my bed, it means life is too hectic. I like my bed made. I like my linen fresh. I like my bed, period. Speaking of linen, check out the range at Myer..................... :) One of my favourite lunch time destinations.

3 Sauna, massages and hot baths.

Enough said. Let's not forget to mention a dash of rose oil, lavender oil or whatever suits my mood for the day. A small drop, but boy does it go a long way.

I had fun, but unfortunately play time is over.

gizmo, yeah sure. then we can go for a therapeutic karaoke session. I like to 'help myself' as I am one of those people who believe that no one understands me but myself - an elevated (and probably unreasonable) sense of self importance.

xtn - i think you'll be surprised that people may understand you more than you give them credit for ;)

I thought the old adage was "Physician, heal thyself". Unless there's a new old adage on the street.
