A Boiling Kettle

1. I think I'm too nice.
2. That's not a very humble thing to say.
1. True.

I wonder at times. Am I too nice. Am I too forgiving. Do I let people walk all over me.

Since uni it is a quality that I've heard and continue to hear from sources all around me. You're too nice. You're innocent. There should be more people in the world like you. That was very big of you. You're graceful.

Compliments perhaps, and perhaps that's how I should see it. Though I'm starting to wonder whether its a manifestation of something deeper.

Either way, I'm not too bothered by it. I just needed a late afternoon punching bag.

How come nobody ever says that about me?! *scowl*

Your 'niceness' is your identity and what makes you lovely, don't lose it.

NoMissOrdinary: Maybe the question to be asked is 'Why?' - Why are you so 'nice', Amedee? Is it of yourself? Nature or Nurture? Out of fear? What intentions? And can we be too 'nice' when our best friend paid the ultimate sacrifice? Perhaps the word 'nice' should be substituted with 'loving'. Now reask the question. Are you too loving? Can we ever love too much?...
