"Do not arouse or awaken love until it so desires." - Song of Solomon 2:7

I stumbled upon this verse by chance at a friend's place today, and it struck a chord, so I did a bit of investigation, and found it to have quite a different effect when read in the context of the passage, naturally.

When I read it on it's own, independent from the passage, it made me pause, and I reflected on the meaning it was trying to convey. I can see many ways in which the verse is relevant, both personally, and the way I view, and thus subsequently approach my ministry.

I enjoyed the unexpected piece of insight, which reminded me of the following Ecclesiastes verse:

"There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven". - Ecclesiastes 3:1
