Life

After coming back from an adventured filled holiday in the States, I've come back to much elation and drama back home in Sydney.

Here is a list of the happy, and the sad; the joys and the grief, and just the plain ol wonders of what I love to call, life.

Two births, Ayesha and Austin. Three newly formed relationships. One engagement. Two weddings, both this coming weekend. One pregnacy. Surgery last week. Four deaths, including one I attended yesterday for a good friend's mother.

My emotions have been up and down and all around. No surprises I'm feeling a little short of tired. Nothing a good nights rest won't fix.

An update from my readings.

I finished Daniel on the train today. I liked it. It's a great book about God's sovereignty, amongst other things.

On Sunday afternoon, I spent a good two hours on my own studying a passage from Song of Songs. It was sooo refreshing to just mull out a passage -- to understand it on it's own, and then in it's context. I don't know why I selected the passage. It was a random selection. They're the best sometimes. Though I feel I've only scratched the surface of the book, I can certainly see how wonderful it is!
