Divine Fragility

This is a picture taken at Tim and Jennifer's wedding yesterday courtesy of Bev.
Weddings are beautiful. This wedding was beautiful. Weddings are always a joy to experience. I'm always overjoyed for the couple.
I love wedding ceremonies. It is where the mass array of emotions come alive. The anticipation. The excitement. The joy. The happiness. The nervousness. But most of all, in The Promises.
Speaking of promises, I spent a good portion of time reading through Galations earlier in the week. Great book.

We took the Sunday School kids bowling today. It was great to spend time with the kids outside a church environment, to let loose, and have some fun.
It was a load of fun.
The kids made it a blast. I'm definitely going to miss them next year.

Random lyrics from 'Undone' by Mercy Me.
"..In brokenness comes beauty
Divine fragility
Reminding me of nail scarred hands
Reaching out for me.."
..To the cross I run
Holding high my chains undone
Now I am finally free
Free to be what I've become
Undone.."
God never fails to surprise me. I find myself loving Him more and more each day, at the work He does, and the work He continues to do.
I say this time and time again, but there alwayyyyyyysssss IS, SO much to be thankful for!

Hey - why are you going to miss the kids next year? Are you changing churches??
I won't be teaching next year as I'll be taking up a different ministry. Which means I won't be seeing the kids on a weekly basis.
I'll definitely miss them. Seeing some of them grow of the past two years has been a real joy.
