Crash

I spent the better half of the evening watching this. A marvelously brilliant, and emotionally powerful film.

Real. Confronting. Challenging. Honest.

It is all that, and so much more. A theatrical achievement on a relevant and important issue.

I really enjoyed it as well. Definitely deserved those accolades.

Mm :)

Yeah it was great eh?

What I liked about it is how it goes beyond the ugliness of what is before us. Beyond what we see. It presents life without the "fluff" and explores the ugliness of who we are - people who have the tendency to pass judgement rather than suspend it. And through the ugliness of it all, it took a sharp look at the heart of what is true - our humanity.
