The River of Life
Things are changing. I can sense it. I feel like I'm sitting on a raft in a river that is neither rough or rampant, but peacefully still and gentle.
Despite this, a strong current is pulling me in a certain direction. To a place I do not yet know and cannot yet see.
My friend, aptly called 'anticipatory excitement' sits comfortably by my side. I leave him to delight in the pleasures of the scenery that continues to change and surround him.
For myself, I'm simply resting in the adventure of the journey.

He must become greater; I must become less.
