Wild At Heart

Today was quite the family fun day. I spent morning breakfast with my Mum, and whilst I waited for her treatment to finish I went and got some groceries around Eastwood and read the entire 1 Corinthians book with new insights (another story for another day).

With perfect timing my 15 year old cousin, Emily happened to be in the area so I had her over to raid my waredrobe before dropping her home. Anton my 7 year old cousin was delighted to see me and show me his new toys and teach me the latest in his world of learning.

It was a great day (and the night is still young!) This line from Anton made me chuckle.

Aunty: "He's been very naughty lately, he got himself two stitches on his head."

Me: "Really?"

[Addresses my 7 year old cousin, Anton]

"Wow you're tough!"

Anton: "Yeah I know."

Me: laughs.

Spoken like a true man in the making.
