Great White Horse
I thought the title was quite fitting since its Melbourne Cup day today. But no. There is more meaning and significance attached. For those that are able to appreciate where I am coming from, please excuse the (intended) pun.
Since my return there has been certain words which have stood out to me - intimacy, adventure, and stillness. It has been great to meditate on these words and rejoice in them.
Undoubtedly, my two weeks in Japan and Hong Kong were timeless. Many moments will forever stand frozen in time. From images that inspired to encounters I could have never have imagined or conceived.
All in all, in short, amongst the many other encounters in my daily life, the time dedicated to Him were undeniably life changing. Ah. Many a stories for many a rainy days.
I've just returned from an evening of much love and encouragement. Many stories were shared of pending missions - to Cambodia, China, Hong Kong and the Philippines. As well as return reports from China.
Maybe its me, but there is always something inspirational in hearing missionary journeys. However, at the present point in time, my brain feels like fresh mash potatoes straight out of the pot, so I'm not really in the right frame of mind to say much more than that.
I think I'd much rather focus on the wonderful thought of riding that Great White Horse. One day.
