Holiday Destination: Sydney
The past couple of days have been wonderful. Slow and serene. Amongst time spent with family and friends there has been much time spent alone. I feel like I'm living in the country. And, it's beautiful.
The streets are quiet. The cars are slow. The weather, surprisingly, has been soft and mellow.
There was a good, but definitely fewer, number of people around the usual hustle and bustle of Eastwood, changing the overall mood of the place. But most of all, as with everything around me, the pace is just, slow.
Home is a good place to be. And that's where I've been. Home. With my books, music, food, and DVDs. Speaking of which, I saw the The Lake House again tonight. And the impact didn't change the second time through. Rather, it stirred even more thoughts, amongst the others that were casted upon me the first time round. Particularly, the thought associated with waiting...
I'll be away for a few days in the East tomorrow. Living the dream, of every Sydneysider, of being close to the sea. I look forward to being captivated by the ocean each day. And discovering the subtle charateristics that make up another part of this gorgeous city.

I envision even more beautiful, slow, and serene days ahead over this Christmas/New Years break. A great way to end off a wonderful and amazingly indescribable year, and begin a new one, with full anticipation and wonder, of what may come.
Join me. In the beauty of the dream.
