My Cousins

This is the family I love.
Well, most of us. At least from my generation's perspective.
They are my dearly loved and cherished cousins. Add a few partners and/or spouses, here and there. And, of course, there is my Aunt, and her grand daughter.
It always brings a joy to my soul and spirit whenever we come together. Whether it is to celebrate birthdays, Christmas, weddings or the like.
This evening was certainly no exception. In fact, this occasion, ranks high on the list.
It was a hilarious. More so, especially since everyone has grown up. The random conversations, news, blessings, stories shared, and memories recounted.
Time disappeared. I felt as though we could have all sat there the whole night.
A few people were missing, including Johnny, who was at his year 10 formal. Naturally, this created endless jokes, curiousities, reflections, and laughter at the table; along with my sis and her beau, who are both overseas.
I only got the photos recently, hence the delay. But the memory, and range of emotions created from the evening hasn't changed.
It'll be Amanda and Louis' wedding in two weeks. Needless to say, it'll be a day filled with much anticipated joy, happiness, laughter, and love.
I'm already smiling at the thought.
