Flying Fish
What a place to dine.
Design. Light. Colours. Interiors. Menu. Food. Service. Everything.
All very well thought out.
The interplay of design elements; seamless. No stone was left unturned.
I was very impressed.

I was initially impressed by this place when I walked in.......but then found it was too dark and the food not terribly savoury. Plus what's with the compulsory valet parking? A rip off in my opinion.
Lokes
compulsory valet parking? there was no such thing for us! we were called a taxi just for our table and everything. service exceeded my expectations.
and in terms of lighting i enjoyed the sunset then how the evening progressively dimmed. i thought it was very effective use of light. it added a really nice pace as the meals arrived.
given that this was a work function and it was on the company's expense i guess i can't complain. that plus my MD knows how to pick good wine, so it is always a pleasure to dine with him.
i do agree that it is slightly overpriced and a bit pretentious, but overall from a design perspective i thought it did very well for itself.
