Moonset

Watching the sunrise and the sunset are wonderful spectacular displays of colour, light and tone.

This morning I saw my first moon set.

The full moon caught me by surprise and captured my full awe struck attention as I looked through the balcony window overlooking the horizon. It was the light - bold, strong and unassuming.

Its presence penetrated the darkness without even trying.
