More Loves!

He came in the mail for me today. Well, not purposefully. I actually found him in a catalogue addressed to me. So, effectively you could say he came in the mail for me today.

Mechanics all aside... he's so cute! And, he's not even real!

How I love puppy dogs. Well, dogs, animals, furry things on four, two or three legs, fuffy things on wings or creatues with no legs at all. Anything! Even a crazy stoned sunbaking lizard that freaked and greeted me every morning during my stay in the East over summer.

All creatures great and small. They fascinate me. I could sit and watch them all day, sun bake with them all day, or swim with them all day. Ahh that'll be the life!

I was at the pet shop up at Carlingford the other day, and there was not one or two, but four most adorable baby german shepherds. I was totally besotted in every sense of the word! I wanted to take them all home!

Actually, I still do!

And onto other wonderful soul stirring creations in life, I spent the better half of this evening at Koorong bookshop. Browsing. Skimming. Wandering. Soaking. Just allowing myself to immerse, and be inspired.

How I love my books! Pages. Words. Time just flows out of them! One of my favourite line comes from Damien Rice's song - Older Chests:

"Older chests reveal themselves
Like a crack in a wall
Starting small, and grow in time
And we all seem to need the help
Of someone else
To mend that shelf
of too many books
Read me your favourite line...

.. Some things in life may change
And some things
They stay the same
Like time, there's always time.."

I think I lost consciousness of the world at his concert last Friday night when he sung the song. That, amongst many others.

I came home with a newbie tonight. A book! It was an unexpected find. I believe, a new release.

There was no question as to whether it was coming home with me. The author has been one of my greatest inspirations. Unquestionally, alongside my ultimate: C.S. Lewis; classic. So, Chel I'll be on your gift to me soon. You'll laugh when I tell you!

I'm so excited to get right into it. So, you'll understand if I disappear into my worm hole for the next few weeks.

I'll make a note to come out from time to time.
