The Slowness of Life
I woke up to a mixture of blessings this morning.
As I turned out of my driveway on my way to work, at the end of my street was a rainbow centered perfectly before me. End to end. It was an amazing site to behold. A real morning blessing. A first; at least in the way it was presented to me. I simply loved how it stopped me in my tracks.
And my spirit awoke in song this morning. Not literally, but it was certainly delighting and leading me as I awoke. It found comfort and refreshment from an unusual, but welcomed call, characterised by gentleness, from the heart of my father.
It was quite a start to yet, another, new day.
