Simplicity
Simplicity. Amongst other words are starting to define my life. The more and more I'm growing, the more and more my desires for the simple life are growing along with it.
Though travelling the world would be glamourous, and living overseas exotic. It is interesting to note my countercultural ways. I'm not saying I don't want to travel, far from it, I am merely suggesting that my attitude and purpose in travelling have shifted rather significantly.
I'm feeling very settled. Very happy. Very content.
Every day feels new. Peaceful. Still.
I would be more than happy living in Tassie tending to a lavender farm day after day, year after year. Or living off an island off the Queensland coast tending and bestowing warmth and welcome to guests at a resort.
It's the simplicity of living close to nature. Away from commercialism, marketing, and the smog. Back to the good ol' days.
Speaking of which, I was randomly offered a job at one of the islands in Queensland the day before we few off to Tassie. A consideration that caught me completely by surprise. October would shed more light.
Regarding Tassie. The air there was simply breathtaking. Thick, heavy, crisp, and clean. You could literally hear a pin drop. The pace and mood was simply pristine. It is what life is all about. Simple. Sweet. There's so much more to say, save for another day.
Things are shifting (again). And following from my previous post title 'my heart' - my secret garden is no longer a million miles away. And for that, I rejoice. It is here. Amazingly. Waiting. Patiently. For that one person to one day finally step in. It'll be scary. But it'll be real. Thank you Janey, for your beautiful thoughts.
