From ~1940 to the present day
It is going to be hard to sum up everything that was shared and spoken today. For the purposes of my blog, these photos will hopefully give some insights.
This is a photo of my grandmother with my father, my uncle, and my aunt (missing my youngest uncle, Sam) taken in Shanghai...
This is a photo of my grandmother with my father, my uncle, and my aunt (missing my youngest uncle, Sam) taken in Shanghai...
One of the only photos I've seen with just my grandmother with my grandfather...
This is my grandfather (far left) with friends. We joked that it looked like it could easily pass as a Polo fashion ad today...
This photo was the most amazing of all. A first for me. My two great grandmothers together along with my grandmother with a mix of their respective families. This time, uncle Sam (the baby) found himself in a photo...
Taking us closer into the modern day and the next generation, this is a photo of my extended family back in 1995 at our annual family gathering for my grandmother's birthday...
And again in 1997... (there was one every year)... it's amazing to look back now and see the differences...
And more recently earlier this year - a family gathering for my cousin (Amanda's) wedding in January... missing my grandmother who passed in Aug 2001...
And finally... today...
With everyone together... most meeting for the first time... some being reacquainted 18 years later...
And into the next generation...

Led by the men...

wow! that's aweshum! thanks for sharing. love the hairdos in the 90s shots ;) no offence, but they're funnier than the ones in your grandparents' days. don't worry - we all have equal photos in our own collections. love the last group one with the yawning bub - immaculate timing hehe
