Love in Mind
I'm borrowing this from mockkie's blog, because William Shakespeare has an amazing way of articulating truths.
"Love sees not with the eyes, but with the mind".
Which brings me to...
The mind of Christ, and what a blessing it is to be united to God's mind because of his love for Jesus, and his love for us.
This is a verse from one of my favourite books in the bible, which speaks of being transformed by the renewing of our minds with his.
"Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will." - Romans 12:2

nice one!! :)
the words of Mark Peterson's song ring out loud and true in my ears whenever I read that verse...
May the mind of Christ my Saviour
Live in me from day to day
By His love and power controlling
All I do and say
All I do and say
May the Word of God dwell richly
In my heart from hour to hour
So that all may see I triumph
Only through His power
Only through His power
May the peace of God my Father
Rule my life in everything
That I may be calm to comfort
Sick and sorrowing
Sick and sorrowing
May the love of Jesus fill me
As the waters fill the sea
Him exalting self abasing
This is victory
This is victory
May I run the race before me
Strong and brave to face the foe
Looking only unto Jesus
As I onward go
As I onward go
May His beauty rest upon me
As I seek the lost to win
And may they forget the channel
Seeing only Him
Seeing only Him
:) An excellent song.
it is :) :D
Here's another passage that I think is most pertinent in contributing to this discussion... :)
"We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. No, we speak of God's secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. However, as it is written: “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him”– but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit.
The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man's spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words. 14The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. The spiritual man makes judgments about all things, but he himself is not subject to any man's judgment: “For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ." - 1 Cor 2:6-16
thanks for ur thoughts wisened
though it'll be interesting to discuss some of your thoughts in more detail, i'm hesitant at doing so over blog, as it is a limited form of communication at best
from ur comment, i suspect u have given the issue of spirituality some thought, and investigation
as a suggestion, i recommend reading 'mere christianity' by cs lewis. i believe it can provide you with some additional thoughts and insights

Reading CS. Lewis' Mere Christianity is one of many options you may take.
It is an assessible and challenging read, which may offer insights and/or provoke thought.
From memory, the book does address the notion about the duality of God, amongst other things.
