Justice, Mercy and Humility
What an awesome day. Then again I say that about every day. But it's true. Everyday is good. There is always something to delight in.
Mum and Dad are great. There was the laughs this morning with Mum, followed by some hanging out time in Eastwood. It's starting to become one of our regular 'hangs', Eastwood. I love how we plan to meet there to share breakfast or lunch, wonder around, chat, or do the groceries together. It's really wonderful.

Of late my Dad and I have been 'sukudoing'. He's gotten me back into it, and it's become our regular weekend activity. It's really cool how we chat about where we got stuck, and how we found it. He listened to Deb's music today and offered his thoughts. I love my Dad - he's wonderful.
Church tonight was awesome. It was great to be reminded about the social implications of the Christian life from Rev Chris Chua. We touched briefly on the topic of ethics. An area I find fasinating, but currently feel inadequate to provide thorough responses to specific issues.
Conversations with Ben T afterwards prompted a great question. Can ethics exisit outside a moral (Christian) framework? It's a great question to think about, but especially the social and political implications of your response.
The singing was amazing. The music during communion moved me to tears thanks once again to Issac's amazing piano skills. Plus communion is always a great time for the church to all reflect on the amazing Grace of God.
There is so much more to say. It's been a wonderful weekend. Everyday is such a joy. At the end of it I can't help but come back to the same wonderful thought - how there is always so much to be thankful for.
"He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."
Micah 6:8
